Good app, but missing an important feature for me I've passed this onto the product and development teams for them to review.
Would be nice to individually set device full arm and part arm behaviours instead on preselects (like set entry zone for door sensor on full arm, but burglar on part arm as I don’t expect the door to be an entry zone for anyone while I’m asleep). I’m happy to review my review on request if any of the above are addressed and fed back to me.Ĥ. This needs to be fixed imagine how many people are having issues because if this. I guess it’s if any name has an apostrophe, rooms zones or lights, maybe the hub as well. Also if a light’s name has an apostrophe then the lights won’t be controlled by Yale either until the apostrophe is removed from all light names.
I get an error fetching room data because I had an apostrophe in one of my room names this should be fixed as now my room name doesn’t make grammatical sense as I’ve had to remove the apostrophe. There’s a bug in the Hue lights connectivity. Could do with more status details, like whether a paired device is connected, battery level, live trigger view (like to actively see when a sensor triggers), etc. Does what it says it does and hasn’t crashed on me yet or caused connectivity issues so that is good.Ģ. Thank you for your comments, I've passed this to the development team.ĭoes the job though could have more device detail and I found a bugġ. I have now given up as the only way I have found to restore functionality is to delete and re-install the App on the phone.Ī great shame as happy with it in every other way. When trying to disarm the alarm, a rotating circle with “Please log in with you phone” message came up. Upgraded to iPhone 12 recently and all seemed to work well for the first few day the the same happened.
UPDATE - Nice new look but still has issues with the Apple Watch App. Hopefully this will be sorted in a future update then I will happily give it 5 stars. When trying to set the alarm from my watch I quite often see the message “ please log in with your phone and try again” when this happens the only resolve is to delete the App and re-install it which it then OK for a day or so before it happens again.
In fact my only gripe is the sync between the App and the Apple phone is poor. I also like the fact it warns you if you have left a door open and also the way it reminds you that the alarm hadn’t been set after you leave the house. I like the way when it advises a battery is low in one of the sensors if you click on it the tamper is automatically over ridden until you confirm the battery has been replaced. Very happy with the App generally and never experienced the issues some have with sluggish operation.
